세잎쥐손이(쥐손이풀과 쥐손이풀속) Geranium wilfordii Maxim.

휴전선과 가까운 서해 최북단의 섬 백령도, 대청도, 소청도 

우리나라 집권 정부에 따라 북한의 포 사격으로 시긴장이 고조되는 지역이다.

 

소청도에도 해군 부대가 주둔하고 있고 마을 이외 지역의 섬 가장자리 숲에는 

지뢰가 있다는 위험 경고 표지가 달린 붉은 깃발을 매단 철망이 둘러쳐져 있다.

 

민박 집 주인의 말을 들으면 몇 해 전 젊은이들이 접근 금지된 해안에서 올라오다가 폭발 사고로 생명을 잃은 적도 있다고 한다.
