이질풀(쥐손이풀과)

늦여름에서 초가을로 가는 길에는 붉은 이질풀이 먼저 길을 반겨준다.

산 초입이나 숲길 가장자리에는 이질풀이며 세잎쥐손이풀 들이 제철을 만났다.

 

쥐손이풀 꽃줄기 끝에 꼭 2송이씩 봉오리를 맺는데 두 녀석이 동시에 피는 경우가 없다.

언제나 형님 먼저 아우 먼저로 시차를 두고 핀다.

 

매년 보면서도 매년 똑 같은 녀석을 담고 싶은 건 무슨 심사일까?

내년에도 또 이 녀석 앞에 눈 맞추게 될 거다.
