2010. 8. 12. 남쪽 높은 산.
정상부는 이 녀석 꽃밭이었다. 아름다운 꽃 천국이었다.
작년에는 늦게 찾는 바람에 겨우 한포기 꽃 핀거 만나고 이름 찾아주느라 한참 부산했었는데..
삭과는 길이 1.2-2cm로서 긴 부리가 있으며 익으면 5개로 갈라진 조각이 위로 말려서 부리에 달리고 5개의 종자가 나온다.
엽액에서 긴 화경이 나와 그 끝에 각 2개의 소화경이 있는 꽃이 달리며 꽃은 7-8월에 피고 지름 1.8cm정도로서 5개이며
적자색이고 소화경은 꽃이 핀 다음 뒤로 굽는다. 꽃받침 열편은 난상 피침형이며 3-5맥이 있고 꽃잎은 도란형이며 길이 1cm이다.
수술은 10개이며 자방은 5실이고 수술대에 털이 있다.
잎은 대생하며 위로 갈수록 엽병이 짧아지고 신장상 원형이며 길이 3-4cm, 폭 5-7cm로서 장상으로 7-8개로 밑까지 깊이 갈라진다.
열편은 다시 우상으로 갈라져 마지막 열편은 폭 2-3mm의 선형으로 끝이 뾰족하며 양면에 백색의 굳은 복모가 깔려 있어 깔깔하다.
탁엽은 피침형으로서 끝이 뾰족하다.
줄기는 곧게 또는 비스듬히 서고 복모가 깔려 있다. 높이가 60-90cm 정도로 자란다.
