도꼬마리(국화과 도꼬마리속) Xanthium strumarium L.

혹시나 고랭이속 녀석들이 있나 싶어서 댐 수변을 뒤지다가 도꼬마리를 반갑게 만났다.

노지 풀밭이나 도로변 공터 등에는 온통 가시도꼬마리와 큰도꼬마리만 보여서

도꼬마리를 만나기는 쉽지가 않다.

 

아주 잘 자란 두 포기에는 열매도 많이 달려 있어서 내년에는 개체가 제법 많아지길 기대해도 될 것 같다.

도꼬마리는 가시가 매우 짧고 열매(총포) 표면에 센 털이 있다.

 

도꼬마리 : Xanthium strumarium L. 

가시도꼬마리 : Xanthium italicum Moretti 

 

도꼬마리다. 열매(총포) 크기가 가시도꼬마리보다 작다.

 

가시가 짧고 드문드문 엉성하게 달린다
