도꼬마리(국화과 도꼬마리속)

왜래종 가시도꼬마리는 흔하게 보이는데 가끔씩 도꼬마리를 만나면 그렇게 반가울 수가 없다.

최근에는 큰도꼬마리가 많이 번지기 시작하는 모양이다.

 

가시도꼬마리에 비하여 번식력이 약한지 무리를 짓지 못하고 한 두포기 저 혼자 놀고 있다.

총포에 들쭉 날쭉 엉성하게 달리 짧은 가시가 애처로운 느낌을 주는 녀석이다.

 

 

 

도꼬마리  총포의 가시가 짧고  길이가 불규칙하고 듬성하다

큰도꼬마리 총포의 가시가 길고 길이가 고르며 밀생한다

 

 

 

 

총포 끝에 흰색 실 같은게 암술대이다

머라 숱 빠진 대머리독수리처럼 가시가 짧고 엉성하게 나 있다.
