몽골식물 - 관모개미자리(석죽과 관모개미자리속) Eremogone capillaris (Poir.) Fenzl

울란바토르에서 1박 후 우리는 동북쪽을 향하여 고속도로를 달린다.

중간에 징기스칸공원에 잠시 들렀다.

 

엄청난 키기로 높이 솟은 동상은 한 번 쳐다보고 나는 내리자 말자 바닥의 풀들을 살피느라 동상은 뒷전이었다.

별 생각 없이 차에 내렸던 일행은 바닥에 엎어져서 카메라를 들이대고 있는 나를 보고

부랴부랴 카메라를 꺼내와서 함께 엎어졌다.

 

국내에서는 보지 못한 각양각색의 풀들이 지천인데다가 탐사 첫날이라

모두 떨어진 동전이라도 주울 듯한 모습으로 풀밭을 돌아다닌다. 

앞으로 볼 게 너무 많으니 출발을 해야한다고 대장이 외치는 소리에도 일어설 줄을 모른다.

 

이 녀석을 처음에 벼룩이울타리로 잘못 생각하였다.

잎이 매우 짧은 관모개미자리였던 것을 모르고 말이다.

2015년 몽골에 왔을 때 이 녀석을 만난 적이 있었는데도 눈치채지 못하고 벼룩이울타리로 착각을 하였다.
