암술 5개, 잎은 선형으로 큰개미자리보다 두껍고 넓음,	화경과 꽃받침에 선모, 종자에 원반형 희미한 돌기,
줄기 위쪽의 잎까지 선모가 있고 잎의 너비는 개미자리보다 조금 넓다.	바닷가나 내륙지방 자람

암술 3개, 수술6~10개, 잎 총생, 잎과 줄기가 가늘고 왜소함, 꽃잎은 전체적으로 분홍색, 탁엽 삼각형 갈라짐

암술 3개, 수술 2~5개, 흰색과 분홍색 있음, 분홍색 종은 꽃잎 기부 흰색,

다육성 잎은 길고 반원주상 선형,  잎마주나기(드물게 총생), 탁엽 넓은 삼각형 합생
