암대극을 촬영하러 들어간 해안 현무암 바닥에 갯개미자리가 가득하다.
이 녀석을 누군가 유럽개미자리라고 해서 갯개미자리라고 설명하다가 잠깐동안 내가 바보가 될 뻔 했다.
유럽개미자리에 비하여 꽃잎이 더 좁은 피침형이고 기부에 흰빛이 있으며 꽃받침 열편 사이에 검은 반점이 있는 점이 특징이다.
유럽개미자리보다 꽃봉오리도 더 길쭉한 모양이며 샘털이 있기도 한다.
꽃받침과 잎, 줄기에 까지 샘털이 밀생하고 수술의 수(6-10)가 더 많은 것을 끈적털갯개미자리라고 한다.
식물분류학회지 2016년 가을호에 갯개미자리 근연종으로 끈적털갯개미자리란 미기록종이 발표되었다.
끈적털갯개미자리 (Spergularia bocconei (Sch.) Asc. & Gra.)는 꽃이 달리는 윗부분의 가지, 줄기, 잎에 샘털이 있으며,
수술의 수는 4-5개(8)로 특히 꽃자루와 꽃받침잎 바깥 면에 많은 샘털을 가지고 있는 형태적 특징을 갖는다고 하고 있다.
논문에 제시한 근연분류군의 검색표를 보면 아래와 같다
1. 탁엽의 길이는 1.5-3mm 로 합생하며 넓은삼각형이다 2. 줄기와 잎에 털이 거의 없으며 잎이 다육성이다-----------------------갯개미자리 S. marina 2. 줄기 윗부분의 가지, 잎, 꽃자루, 꽃받침잎에 샘털이 밀생한다----------끈적털갯개미자리 S. bocconi 1. 탁엽은 길이 3-5mm로 이생하며 긴 삼각형이다---------------------------유럽개미자리 S. rubra |
헌데 끈적털갯개미자리에 못미치지만 어느 정도 선모를 가지고 있는 녀석들이 많다는 게 문제다.
이 녀석도 제법 선모를 많이 가지고 있는데 위쪽가지에도 선모가 꽤 보이니 끈적털갯개미자리라 볼 수 있겠다.
수술의 수가 6개로 일반적이 갯개미자리의 수술 수(3-5개) 보다 더 많다
