치자풀(현삼과 치자풀속)Monochasma sheareri (S. Moore) Maxim. ex Franch. & Sav. 열매와 종자

봉오리도 나기 전 4월 중순에는 줄기만 자란 모습을 보고 왔다가 개화시에 가 보지 못하고 결실기에 다시 찾았다.

이 녀석은 한해살이풀이 아니라 여러해살이 반기생식물인 것 같다.

언제나 그 자리에 포기가 더 커지면서 살아가고 있으니까.

 

이 녀석은 1974년 박만규에 의해 현삼과 치자풀로 기재되었으나 2006년 이를 확인하지 못한 후학들이 변산붙살이풀이란 미기록종으로 다시 보고하는 실수를 범하였다.

 

삭과 열매는 길이 6~8mm, 너비 3~5mm이다.

삭과 봉선이 갈라지면서 번데기 모양의 종자들이 엄청 많이 들어 있다.

열매도 아주 풍성하게 달고 있었으니 대대손손 적합한 환경에 잘 달라붙어 살아가리라 걱정을 던다.

이년초라 했지만 이 녀석은 여러해살이풀로 보인다.
