백운풀(꼭두서나과 백운풀속)

오래 전 꽃동무가 알려주었던 이 곳을 이제사 찾았다.

마침 원거리 출장 길 지나는 곳이라 잠시 짬을 내어서 들렀더니

저수지 수변에 하늘지기류와 함께 백운풀이 자라고 있는 게 확인이 된다.

 

지난 번 제주도에서 제주백운풀이라 생각한 녀석을 담아 온 적이 있는데

제주백운풀이 백운풀과 다른 점이 소화경이 짧고 화경에 돌기가 없으며 보통 엽액에서 1-3개의 꽃이 핀다.

또 수술대가 0.5-0.8mm로 길며 악편이 삼각형, 열매 성숙시 상부가 팽창하지 않는 점에서 백운풀과 구분이 된다고 한다

그런데 이 저수지에서 만난 백운풀은 단생이라고 보기 어렵고 잎겨드랑이에 거의 2개씩 꽃을 피우고 화경이 약간 보일 정도이다.

악편은 좁은 삼각형이라기 보다는 삼각형으로 오히려 제주백운풀로 봤던 녀석이 더 좁은 삼각형이라 할 수 있었다.

그러니 제주백운풀과 크게 다를 바가 없다는 것인디... 화경의 돌기는 확인할 수 없어서 뭐라 하기 어렵다.

 

 

 

열매 상부가 과연 제주백운풀에 비하여 부풀어 올랐다고 할 수 있을까?
