풀거북꼬리(쐐기풀과 모시풀속) Boehmeria paraspicata Nakai

국내의 모시풀속에 대하여 제대로 정리가 된 게 없어서 많이들 혼란스러워 한다.

이 녀석도 과연 풀거북꼬리로 모두 정리하는 게 맞을까 하면서도 달리 정리할 만한 종이 없다.

 

도감의 내용을 보면 풀거북꼬리는 줄기 속이 비어 있다고 하지만 줄기 속이 비어 있는 것은 딱 한 번만 보았다.

줄기 속에 투명한 수가 차 있지만 지난 해 마른 줄기를 보면 속이 빈 게 보여서 풀거북꼬리로 봐야하지 않을까 한다.

 

풀거북꼬리는 거북꼬리와 달리 끝이 3개로 갈라지지 않는다. 긴 엽병이 있으며 엽병은 흔히 붉은빛이 돈다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

이 녀석은 결강성 톱니로 잎 끝이 풀거북꼬리와 모습과는 좀 다른 녀석이다.

꽃동무의 분석에 의하면 일본의 자료에 나타나는 Boehmeria silvestrii 라는 종이 있다.
