섬모시풀(쐐기풀과 모시풀속)Boehmeria nivea var. tenacissima (Gaudich.) Miq.

모시풀속 중에서 모시풀과 섬모시풀의 잎이 어긋나기다.

섬모시풀이 모시풀에 비하여 털이 짧고 탁엽이 아래 부분이 합생하는 점에서 차이가 있다.

 

모시풀은 전라도 지역에서 재배하던 것이 야생화 되어 있는데 섬모시풀은 제주도와 울릉도에서는 흔하게 보이며

섬모시풀은 엽질이 좀 두텁고 잎 뒷면이 백색을 띠며 굵은 줄기 아래 부분이 목질화되어 있다.

가지 끝 암꽃화서에는 벌써 결실이 되고 있다

 

 

잎자루 기부에 갈변한 탁엽이 보인다. 탁엽의 아래 부분이 합생하고 있다

 

 

 

어린 녀석들은 이제사 꽃을 피우는 녀석도 있다
