풀거북꼬리(쐐기풀과 모시풀속) Boehmeria paraspicata Nakai

참으로 복잡하고 난해한 식구들이라......

그래도 풀거북꼬리는 줄기를 만져 보면 속이 비어서 눌리는 느낌이 있어서 이름 불러주기 쉽다.

풀거북꼬리의 잎은 꼬리만 길게 빠지고 거북꼬리는 잎 끝이 세개의 큰 결각이 있고 꼬리도 길게 빠진 점으로 구분이 되기는 하는데

이 녀석들도 잎 변이가 심해서 모두가 거북꼬리같아 보이는 게 문제이다.

 

풀거북꼬리는 줄기가 한 군데서 모여 나고 잎은 난형이며 거북꼬리와 달리 끝이 3개로 갈라지지 않는다.

 

 

 

꽃은 일가화로서 7-8월에 피며 엽액의 수상화서에 달리고 웅화서는 줄기 밑부분에, 자화서는 줄기 윗부분에 달린다.

수꽃은 4-5개로 갈라진 꽃받침과 4-5개의 수술이 있으며 암꽃은 여러 개가 모여 달리고 통형의 꽃받침으로 싸여 있으며 암술대는 1개이다.

열매는 수과로 도란형이지만 여러 개가 모여서 둥글게 보이고 겉에 잔털이 있다.

 

 

 

긴 엽병이 있으며 엽병은 붉은빛이 돈다. 가장자리에는 거친 톱니가 있다.

 

 

거북꼬리는 잎 끝이 크게 3개로 갈라지는데 풀거북꼬리는 꼬리만 길게 빠져 있다

 

 

 

 

 

줄기 속이 비어 있는 점이 거북꼬리와 다른 점이다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

마른 줄기 속의 빈 구멍은 더 확실하다

 

 

 

 

 

높이가 1m에 달하며 줄기는 여러 개가 한 군데에서 나오고 붉은 빛이 돈다.
