뭘까? 하얀색의 꽃을 피우는 이 녀석은?
연 푸른색 꽃을 피우는 꽃받이와는 좀 달라 보이는데....
제주도에는 꽃받이속 녀석이 몇 종 자생하는데
몇 년 전 참꽃받이를 살피다가 덮어 놓아 버려서
참꽃받이도 확신하지 못하고 있는 상황이라 이 참에 꽃받이속을 제대로 살펴 봐야겠다.

이번 제주에서 만난 이 녀석은 흰색의 꽃을 피우는데
꽃의 크기가 꽃받이와 비슷하긴 하지만 근소하게 더 크고
아래쪽에서 가지를 많이 분지하며 잎 가장가지가 밋밋하였다.
<2> 요런 게 일반적인 꽃받이로 푸른색을 띠고 꽃이 더 잘다.

<1>번 이 녀석은 그냥 흰색 꽃을 피우는 꽃받이로 봐야 할까?

이 녀석은 꽃이 많이 큰 녀석으로 강모가 아주 밀생하는데 몇 년 전 제주도에서 봤던 녀석이다
녀석의 정체를 제주의 꽃동무한테 부탁하여 제주의 난대림연구소에서 살핀 적이 있는데 참꽃받이로 결론이 났던 녀석이다.
꽃이 거의 흰색에 가까우면서 기부에 옅은 보라색을 띠고 있다.
전초에 거센털이 많고 줄기 위쪽에서 가지가 분지하고 꼿꼿하게 자라는 이 녀석을 참꽃받이라고 결론을 내렸다는데

헌데 제주도의 야생화 동호인들 사이에서는 이 녀석을 참꽃받이로 소개들을 하고 있다.
위 3번 녀석보다 전초가 더 크고 잎도 크고 커다란 푸른색 꽃을 피운다.
3번은 꼿꼿하게 서지만 이 4번 녀석은 가지를 많이 분지하고 비스듬하게 퍼져 있었다.
표준식물목록에 보면 꽃받이속에 흰참꽃받이란 녀석이 있다.
꽃받이와 거의 흡사하지만 흰색의 꽃을 피우는 녀석을 흰참꽃받이로 보긴 무리다.
<희>참꽃받이라면 참꽃받이가 흰색의 꽃을 피우는 거이 맞기 때문이다
혹시 꽃색이 흰색에 가까운 아래 <3번> 녀석이 흰참꽃받이일까?
그렇다고 해도 이 녀석이 완벽한 흰색은 아니고 옅은 보라색이 돌고 있으니.....

이번에 만난 1번 녀석은 흰색 꽃을 피우는 꽃받이로 봐야 할까?
