낙우송(낙우송과) 열매 Taxodium distichum (L.) Rich.

메타세쿼이아와 아주 흡사하지만 잎 나기가 어긋나고 열매자루가 거의 없으며 실편 모양이 넓은 마름모형이다

이 녀석은 습함 곳이나 물이 많은 곳 주변에 자라면 뿌리가 혹처럼 지표면 위로 불룩불룩 솟아오르는데 호흡근이라고 한다

가지 끝에 2월에 꽃이 필 웅화수가 달여 있다
