일본매자나무(매자나무과)

수목원에 심겨져 있는 녀석이 화려하게 꽃을 피웠다.

 

흔히들 이 녀석은 모두 당매자나무라 부른다. 얼마 전까지 나도 그렇게 불렀다

헌데 일본매자나무란 녀석이 또 있다.

 

두 녀석의 차이는 화서 형태인데 일본매자나무는 산형화서이고 당매자나무는 총상화서이다.

이 녀석은 산형화서로 일본매자나무인 게 확인이 된다.

 

제주도 식물은 아니지만 일단 제주의 수목원에서 담아서 이 방에 올려 둔다
