문모초(현삼과 개불알풀속)

논바닥에서 만난 세번째 녀석이다. 이 녀석은 논밭 근처 약간 습한 곳을 좋아한다

얼핏 선개불알풀의 형상과 비슷하지만 털이 없으며 약간 육질이고 곧게 서며 기부에서 가지가 갈라져서 총생한다.

 

줄기 아래쪽에서는 마주나지만 위쪽에서는 어긋나며 넓은 선형이거나 피침형이다.

한 포기 가지 끝에 하얗게 피어 있는 꽃인 듯 눈에 들어 오는 흔적을 보고 그냥 접사했더니 꽃이다.'

 

4개로 깊게 갈라진 좁은 피침형 꽃받침 열편이 보이고

꽃받침 길이 보다 더 짧은 4갈래로 깊게 갈라진 꽃잎 열편 가운데 암술머리가 보인다

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

삭과는 편원형이고 끝이 오목하며 길이 2~3mm, 폭 3~4mm이고 흔히 벌레집으로 둥글게 변하기도 한다.

이 녀석은 아직 벌레의 접근이 없었던가 열매가 아주 깨끗하게 익었다.
