은백양(버드나무과)1 Populus alba L.

어? 은백양이다. 언제나 처음은 반갑다.

조림용으로 많이 심는 버드나무과 수종으로 은사시나무가 있다.

은사시나무가 바로 이 은백양과 사시나무 사이에 태어난 교잡종이다

 

은백양은 잎 표면이 윤채가 약간 있고 뒷면에 부드러운 털이 엄청 많았는데 잎자루, 새순의 어린 가지도 하얗게 털에 덮여 있었다.

보통 잎이 3~5갈래로 얕게 갈라지는데 개체에 따라 거의 갈라지지 않는 녀석도 보인다.
