승마(미나리아재비과 승마속)Actaea heracleifolia (Kom.) J.Compton

승마는 고산 지역이 아니라 해안 가까운 지역에만 서식하는 모양이다.

지난 여름 경기도 해안에서 꽃봉오리 맺은 걸 처음 보고 결국 꽃은 담지 못하였다.

이 녀석도 서식지가 한정적이라 녀석을 보려면 동서를 가로질러서 먼 길 가야만 한다.

 

 

 

화서에 뭉친 털이 밀생하고 열매 표면에는 털이 없다

 

 

골돌 열매는 길이 1cm정도이고 타원형이며 끝에 갈고리처럼 휘어진 암술대가 남아 있다.

 

 

 

골돌 열매는 5개씩 모여 있고 열매 자루는 짧다.

 

 

 

 

 

잎은 호생하고 엽병이 길며 2회 3출엽으로 소엽은 넓고 크며 난형이고 끝이 뾰족하다.

소엽병이 있으며 밑부분이 얕은 심장저이고 길이 3-8cm, 폭 2-5cm로서 가장자리가 흔히 2-3개로 갈라지며 불규칙한 톱니가 있고 털이 없다.

 

 

꽃색이 칙칙한 누른색으로 피는 황새승마는 정소엽에만 엽병이 있고 다른 소엽에는 엽병이 없는데 

승마는 모든 소엽에 엽병이 있다,

 

 

 

 

꽃은 8-9월에 피며 원줄기 윗부분에 큰 복총상화서가 발달하며 많은 수의 꽃이 촘촘히 달리고 화경이 짧다.

꽃받침잎은 4-5개이고 꽃잎은 3-4개로서 백색이며 선단이 대개 2개로 갈라진다. 수술은 다수이고 자방은 짧은 대가 있다.
