촛대승마(미나리아재비과 노루삼속) Cimicifuga simplex (DC.) Wormsk. ex Turcz.

강원도 고개마루 숲에는 촛대승마가 길다란 촛대를 세우고 개화가 시작이다.

승마꽃을 살펴보려고 접사를 하여 담아 놓고선 이제사 열어 본다.

 

 

 

 

꽃은 6-7월에 피며 원줄기 끝에서 길이 20-30cm에 이르는 총상화서로 달린다.

화서는 흔히 밑부분에서 가지가 갈라지기도 하며 많은 백색꽃이 달리고 양성화와 수꽃이 있으며 백색털이 있고 소화경은 길이 5-10mm이다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

꽃받침잎은 5개이고 길이 4mm로서 타원형이며 꽃잎은 작고 끝이 밋밋하거나 얕게 2개로 갈라지며 수술은 많고 길이 10mm로서 백색이다.

자방은 2-7개로서 꽃이 핀 다음 길어지는 짧은 대가 있으며 털이 약간 있다. 암술은 3-6개로 회색털과 선모(腺毛)가 발생한다.

골돌은 긴 대가 있으며 길이 1cm정도로서 털이 약간 있거나 없고 긴 타원형이며 끝에 꼬부라진 암술대가 남아있다
