세잎승마(미나리아재비과 노루삼속) Actaea bifida (Nakai) J.Compton

이 곳 숲도 참 재미 있는 곳이다.

작년에 이 세잎승마가 꽃대를 올리는 걸 처음 발견하고

넓다란 석장의 잎을 가진 이 녀석이 얼마나 반가웠던지..

 

언제 꽃이 피나 싶어서 이 숲을 뻔질나게 드나들었다.

결국 꽃대 올린 걸 본지 두 달 가까이 되어서야 개화한 걸 볼 수가 있었다.

 

작년에는 세 개체만 보였는데 숲을 돌아댕기니까 몇 개체가 더 눈에 띈다.

올해는 헛걸음을 하지 않고도 꽃 필 때를 잘 맞출 수 있겠지.

 

중부지방 이북의 산 숲 속에 드물게 자라는 한국특산이다.

줄기는 곧추서며, 높이 80~120cm다. 잎은 줄기 아래쪽에서 발달하며, 작은잎 3장으로 된 겹잎이다.
