천일담배풀(국화과) Carpesium glossophyllum Maxim.

이 녀석은 전남 지역이나 제주도 등의 남쪽 해안 도서 지역에서 주로 만났다.

제주도에서는 중산간 지역 숲 바닥에 흔하게 볼 수가 있는데 애기담배풀과 함께 개화시에도 근생엽이 싱싱하다.

 

전초에 긴 털이 유난스럽게 많고 도피침상 설형의 잎을 가지고 있으면 두화의 지름이 8~15mm 정도로 애기담배풀보다는 꽃이 조금 더 크다.

총포는 좀담배풀과 함께 뒤로 젖혀지는 각두형으로 5열이라 하나 사진상으로 3열 정도 밖에 되지 않은 것 같다.

 

두화는 가지와 줄기 끝에 아래를 향하여 달리고 포엽이 있다

 

 

 

근생엽은 개화시까지 남아 있으며 지면으로 퍼지는 로제트형이고 도피침상 설형이며

길이 9~15cm, 폭 2.5~3.5cm로서 둥근 끝이 뾰족해지고 밑부분이 좁으며 잔돌기가 산생하고 양면에 털이 많다.

경생엽은 호생하고 적으며 드물게 달리고 뿌리잎보다는 작은 긴 타원상 피침형이지만 윗부분의 것은 선상 피침형이다.
