땅채송화려니 하고 담아 왔더니 돌채송화로 보인다.
땅채송화에 비하여 잎은 원주상 장타원형이고 화서는 주축 끝에 생기며 심피가 개출(퍼짐)한다.
바위채송화에 비하여는 잎이 선형이 아니다.
돌채송화 아변종 국내 자생 자료가 있지만 돌채송화 원변종은 국내 자생이 애매하다고 한다.
해서 이 녀석을 땅채송화로 수정 정리한다.
황금색을 띠는 원예품으로 개발된 Sedum japonicum
잎끝에 작은돌기가 있는 제주 섭지코지의 Sedum japonicum subsp. oryzifolium
내륙의 바닷가에 자라는 돌기가 없는 Sedum japonicum var.pumilum 으로 국내의 두 아변종은 모두
Sedum japonicum subsp. oryzifolium으로 처리가 되어 있다고 합니다.
결국 원변종인 돌채송화는 국내 자생 여부가 애매한 것으로 본다는 것이었습니다.

줄기의 하부는 비스듬히 자라고 줄기 상부는 곧게 자라고 밑 부분에는 꽃이 달리지 않는 가지가 벋으면서 번식한다
대체로 전체에 붉은색을 띤다.
