둥근잎비름(돌나물과 돌나물속) Sedum makinoi Maxim.

이 녀석은 울릉도 도동 주변 산책로에 야생화 되어 자라고 있는 녀석이다.

몇 년 전 이 녀석을 촬영하고 있는 내 모습을 보던 근처에 살던 할머니가 자기가 거기 심어 놓은게

그렇게 많이 퍼졌다고 이야기를 해 준 적이 있다. 

 

이 녀석은 2005년 경산에서 처음 발견이 되어 보고된 외래식물인데

말똥비름 및 주걱비름과 비교하여 잎이 납작한 점이 비슷하지만,

말똥비름은 줄기와 잎이 만나는 축에 엽아가 있지만, 둥근잎비름은 엽아가 없으며,

주걱비름은 꽃이 달린 줄기의 잎이 어긋나지만, 본 종은 잎이 마주나므로 구분된다.

 

울릉도에는 집집마다 집 앞에 내어 놓은 화분 바닥에도 이 녀석이 많이 심겨져 있는 게 보였다.

아마도 처음부터 도입종이 야생화 된 게 아닐까 싶다.
