천문동(백합과 비짜루속) 열매 Asparagus cochinchinensis (Lour.) Merr.

천문동 수꽃에 흥분하여 정신 없이 담았는데

헌데 차를 세우던 장소에도 열매가 달린 비짜루속 한 포기가 나무 아래 있었던 모양인데

꽃동무 한 분이 삐짜루 열매도 달렸네 하길래 다들 별 생각 없이 그냥 지나쳐 버렸었다.

 

혹시 그 녀석이 천문동 열매일 수도 있다 싶어서 수꽃을 담고는 주차한 곳 둔덕으로 올라가서 보니

히야~!! 천문동 열매가 맞다. 오늘 꽃복 정말 대박이다.

 

반 덩굴성인 이 녀석은 옆의 산초나무 줄기를 감고 올라서 줄기를 길게 벋고 있었는데

어린 열매가 달려 있고 굵은 줄기에는 가시 모양의 잎이 뚜렷하게 나타나 있었다.

 

 

꽃은 5-6월에 피고 담황색으로 1-3개씩 모여 액생하며 길이 3mm정도이고 소화경은 길이 2-5mm로서

중앙부에 관절이 있으며 꽃잎과 길이가 거의 같다. 암술대는 3개로 갈라지며 자방은 병모양이고 3실이다.

과실은 장과로서 백색으로 익으며 구형이고 지름 6mm정도로서 그 속에 1개의 검은색 종자가 들어 있다

 

 

 

 

천문동은 비짜루에 비하여 길이 1-2m로서 덩굴성이고 길게 자라며 가늘고 평활하다.

 

 

 

잔가지(엽상지)는 잎모양으로 1-3개씩 총생하고 선형이며 세모가 지고 뾰족하여 가시같고

길이 1-2cm, 폭 1-1.2mm로서 처럼 굽으며고 줄기에 어긋난다.  잔가지에는 능선이 많고 잎이 작다. 

 

 

 

굵은 줄기의 잎은 가시 모양으로 길이 4~5mm로 미세한 막질 또는 짧은 가시로서 줄기에 흩어져 난다.
