황기(콩과 황기속)

석회암 지대 고산 정상에 황기가 살다니.

식생이 다양하고 특별한 녀석을 볼 수 있는 곳인 줄은 알고 있었지만 참 재미있는 곳이다.

 

조금만 몸에 좋다고 하거나 귀한 녀석이라 하면 어느새 흔적도 없이 사라져버리기 일쑤인 터라

이렇게 자생으로 살아가고 있는 녀석들 볼 때마다 대견스럽고 반갑다.

목숨 부지하고 있는 녀석들은 그나마 다행한 일이고 그래도 숲이 건강하다는 걸 알 수 있으니까.

 

 

 

약재를 얻기 위하여 일부 채취하는 거야 할 수 없는 일이지만 

씨알도 남기지 않고 거의 전멸시키면서 싹쓸이 해 가는 장삿군들의 손길이 가장 큰 문제인 것이다.

더욱이나 멸종위기식물이 발견되는 즉시 사라지는 흔적을 보면 가슴이 쓰리다.

 

어떤 이는 자기만 봐야 한다고 캐 가서 혼자만 아는 곳에 옮겨 둔다는 이야기도 들리고,

꽃을 담고는 다른 사람이 찍지 못하게 꽃을 따거나 뭉개 버리는 현장에 대한 분노의 이야기도 들려 온다.

다들 부질 없는 욕심으로 그 화가 나중에 우리에게로 되돌아 올 뿐인 것을.
