망적천문동(백합과 비짜루속) Asparagus dauricus Fisch. ex Link

바닷가 모래땅이나 자갈이 많은 곳에 드물게 자라는 녀석이다.

강원도 해안에는 여기 저기서 보이는데 경북 동해안의 망적천문동은 처음 만나 본다.

표본 채집지를 보면 영덕에서도 채집된 표본이 있으니 아마도 영덕 북부지역까지 분포하는 것 같다.

서해안 쪽에서는 안면도 해안까지 만난 적이 있다.

 

주로 해안 모래밭에서 만나는데 줄기는 눕거나 비스듬히 서며, 높이 40~120cm에 이른다.

잎처럼 생긴 가지는 마디마다 1~3개씩 나는데

대개 예각을 이루거나 가끔 젖혀지며 마지막 갈래는 항상 예각을 이룬다.

 

암수딴포기로 꽃자루는 천문동 보다는 길고 방울비짜루 보다는 짧은 2~7mm이며 중앙에 관절이 있다.

경기도, 강원도, 충청남도, 경상북도, 북한 양강도 등에 분포하는 한반도 특산종이다. 

 

 

수꽃이다. 암꽃이 비하여 화피가 길다.

비짜루속 수꽃들 모두 그렇다.

벌써 어린 열매도 달려 있다.

 

해안 철책을 따라 망적천문동 여러 개체들이 무리지어 잘 살고 있다.
