천문동(백합과 비짜루속) Asparagus cochinchinensis (Lour.) Merr.

섬이라 그런가 해안 쪽으로 천문동이 많이 보인다.

육지라면 뿌리를 캐어서 남아나지 않았을텐데.....봉오리를 물고 있는데 꽃이 아쉽다.

 

낫처럼 휘어진 잎처럼 보이는 것은 잎이 아닌 줄기며 잎은 짧은 가시로 퇴화되어 있다.

 

 

 

꽃자루 중간에 관절이 있다. 암수딴포기이다.

 

 

 

 

가지는 선형의 잎 모양으로 길이 1~2cm이며, 1~3개씩 뭉쳐나고 활처럼 굽는다.

 

 

굵은 가지의 잎은 가시 모양으로 길이 4~5mm이다. 가지 기부에 잎이 변한 가시가 보인다

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 줄기는 1~2m이고, 위쪽에서는 다른 물체를 감고 덩굴지기도 한다
