애기모람(뽕나무과 무화과속) Ficus thunbergii Maxim.

제주의 돌담이나 계곡 숲에서 흔하게 볼 수 있는 녀석으로 꽃이 동그란 열매같은 화낭으로 달리는 무화과속이다.

모람에 비하여 열매의 크기가 커서 <왕> 모람이란 이름을 가지고 있지만 정작 잎의 크기는 모람에 비하여 무척 작다.

어린 잎과 성숙된 잎의 형태가 다른데 어린 잎은 이렇게 작고 파상의 결각이 있다.

=> 이 녀석이 애기모람(뽕나무과 무화과속) Ficus thunbergii Maxim.으로 재 정리가 되었다.

 

 

 

어린 잎은 파상의 톱니가 생기며 길이 1cm이하이고 표면은 녹색으로 털이 없으나, 뒷면은 맥 위에 털이 있다.

측맥은 3~6쌍이며, 소맥은 뒷면에서 돌출된다.

 

 

 

  벋어나는 줄기의 잎은 호생하며 혁질이고 난형 또는 타원형이며 둔두 원저이고 길이 1~5cm, 폭 1~2cm로 가에는 거치가 없다.

꽃은 1가화로 액생하고 직경이 2cm 정도인 둥근 화탁 안에 들어 있으며 은화이다.

 

열매는 은화과로 둥글게 생겼으며, 직경은 2cm이고 짧은 과병이 있으며, 엽액에 단생한다.

열매는 10~11월에 성숙한다는데 열매를 볼려고 애를 많이 써 봤지만 아직 모람이든 왕모람이든본 적이 없다.
