급히 돌아 오는 길에 이 녀석 안부를 물어야 했다.
부러 그곳까지 갈 시간은 없을테니 지나는 길 짬을 내어서 녀석 앞에 몇번 절을 해야겠기에.
작년에 씨를 받아서 꽃동무한테 전해 주었는데 그 싹튼 녀석이 꽃을 피웠다기에 녀석의 보급자리에도 꽃이 피었지 싶어서이다.
초입의 자리에는 흔적조차 보이지 않아서 실망하는데 찬찬히 안쪽으로 들어 가니 마악 돋아나는 어린 개체가 보인다.
그 녀석 붙잡고 씨름하다가 보니 멀찍이 포기도 실한 녀석이 풍성하게도 꽃을 피웠다.
녀석은 그리 많이 번지지 않은 귀화식물이라 그런지 아직 이 녀석한테 눈길 주는 이가 많지 않은 모양이다.
꽃줄기가 풍성하여서 잎이 안 보인다. 꽃잎은 없고 꽃받침은 녹색으로 5열 하고 가장자리에 흰 막질의 테가 있다.
줄기에 마악 꽃이 자리 잡는 녀석이라 잎이 잘 보인다.
줄기에는 아래로 향한 흰털이 있고 잎 아래쪽에도 밀모가 있다.
꽃이 다북하게 피고 있다.
꽃가지가 만들어지기 시작하고 있다.
아직 어린 개체이다.
길쭉한 선형의 다육성 잎이 마주나고 엽액에 줄기가 생성되어서 들개미자리를 보는 느낌과 유사하다.
