가시엉겅퀴(국화과)=>개엉겅퀴

2010. 7. 25. 제주.

 

제주에는 가시엉겅퀴와 바늘엉겅퀴가 주로 많이 보인다.

바늘엉겅퀴는 총포가 바늘처럼 생겨서 쉽게 구분은 되지만 두 녀석 모두 가시가 대단하여 이름을 자주 바꾸어 부르게 된다.

잎의 결각이 심하고 결각 끝이  돌기가 길다란 가시로 되어 있다. 

 

근데 이 녀석도 가시엉겅퀴에 비하여 잎이 단정하고 엽폭이 좁은 형으로 잎의 가시가 크게 발달하여 두 녀석의 중간형으로 보인다 

 => 개엉겅퀴로 정리한다
