개모시풀(쐐기풀과 모시풀속) Boehmeria platanifolia (Maxim.) Franch. & Sav. ex C.H.Wright

개모시풀이지. 작년에 청량산에서 이 녀석 담았다가 이름 찾느라고 여기 저기 들쑤셨던 적이 있다.

키도 무지 크고 크고 3맥이 있으며 양면에 털이 많은 게 특징이지만

화서가 가지를 친다는 점에서 개모시풀로 확인하였던 녀석이다.

꽃은 암수한그루로서 이삭화서로 달리고 7-8월에 피며 연한 녹색이다.

수상화서는 엽액에서 나오며 밑부분에 웅화서, 윗부분에 자화서가 달린다.

수꽃은 여러 개가 모여 달리고 4개씩의 화피열편과 수술이 있으며 암꽃은 화피통으로 싸여 있고

전체에 털이 있으나 윗부분의 것이 가장 길며 여러 개가 모여서 밤송이같이 화서에 달린다

 

 

잎은 대생하고, 넓은 난형 또는 원형이며 길이 10cm, 나비 12-18cm로서 가장자리의 톱니는 결각상이고

줄기 위로 갈수록 결각은 커져서 끝부분이 주맥의 끝부분과 더불어 크게 3개로 갈라진다.

윗부분의 잎은 엽병이 짧으며 난상 타원형으로서 끝이 꼬리처럼 길게 뾰족해지고 톱니가 그리 크지 않다.

양면에 짧고 거친 털이 퍼져 나 있으며, 막질이다.
