모감주나무(무환자나무과 모감주나무속) Koelreuteria paniculata Laxm.

이 녀석은 장마가 시작 될 즈음부터 피기 시작하여서

어른들은 모감주 꽃이 피면 장마가 온다고 한다.

 

작년에 청량산으로 가는 도로 옆 산에 모감주나무가 군락을 이루고 있는 걸 봤다 

청량산을 가 본지 한참 되었다. 지금 쯤 모감주 나무 꽃으로 산이 노랗게 덮여 있겠다.

 

 

 

 

 

꽃이 핀 후 꽈리 열매처럼 큼지막하게 열리는 열매도 관상용으로 한 역할을 한다.
