백양더부살이(열당과) Boschniakia rossica (Cham. & Schltdl.) B.Fedtsch.

백양사 근처에서 처음 발견되어서 이름을 얻었단다.

초종용은 사철쑥에, 백양더부살이는 일반 쑥에 기생한다고 하나 그렇지만도 않은 모양이다.

 

제주에는 백양이와 초종용이가 모두 살고 있었다. 초지의 풀들은 거센 바람에 몸을 가누지 못하고 법석을 떠는데

백양더부살이를 담는다고 비바람에 맞서니 이 녀석 더 심통을 부려댄다.

 

우의를 입었겠다 젖은 풀밭 아랑곳 않고 비바람과 버티기를 한다.

내 비 맞는 거야 괘념치 않지만 카메라가 젖으니..... 에혀~! 렌즈에 묻은 빗방울도 함께 담을 수 밖에.

 

백양이는 줄기 아래 바짝 꽃이 달린다. 초종용은 1/2 이상 위쪽에 꽃이 핀단다.

5~6월경에 통꽃이 피는데 줄기 밑에서 끝부분까지 1~2cm 정도의 꽃들이 모여 달리며

보라색 바탕에 흰 줄무늬가 있고 수술 4개와 암술이 있다. 

 

 

 

 

 

잎은 비늘조각 같은 길쭉한 삼각형으로 어긋나게 달려 있고 잔털이 빽빽이 나 있다. 

 

 

 

 

윗쪽 순판에 타원형의 하얀 이빨? 과 아랫쪽 순판에 2개의 혹같은 하얀 돌기가 특이하다.
