뽕나무(뽕나무과) 암꽃 Morus alba L.

개량 뽕나무인가 보다. 화서가 무척 크다.

작년에 여기 왔다가 유난히 커다란 뽕나무 열매를 관리인 눈치 보면서 따먹었는데 단맛이 기가 막혔었다.

 

뽕나무는 이가화가 대부분인데 일가화도 드물게 보인다고 한다. 암꽃 밖에 안 보인다.

수꽃을 살펴 봐야겠다. 오디가 열리지 않는 나무를 미리 살펴 둘 걸 그랬다.

 

산뽕나무는 열매가 까맣게 익을 때까지 길다란 암술이 달려 있는데, 일반 뽕나무는 암술이 사라진다. 

 

 

 

 

징그러울 정도로 암술이 길고 구불거린다.
