냄새냉이(배추과 냄새냉이속)

냄새냉이. 아주 특별한 냄새가 난다. 꽃이 제대로 담겨지지 않았다.

호주 일본 중국 등지에 귀화되었으며 국내에서는 1991년 제주도에서 채집되어 `냄새냉이`로 명명이 되었다.

 

꽃은 작고 지름 1㎜ 백색 십자화(十字花)이며 뿌리에서 생긴 총상화서와 줄기에서 잎과 마주나는 총상화서가 있다. 꽃받침 4개 난형이며 꽃잎은 피침형으로 길이 0.5㎜ 담황색이고 꽃받침보다 짧다. 수술 2개 암술 1개이다. 

 

 

 

시기가 늦어서 그런지 꽃을 담지 못하고 열매만 가득 담았다

열매는 1쌍의 공을 붙여 놓은 모양이다. 송화가루가 날려서 온통 송화가루 투성이다.

 

  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

줄기가 바닥에 붙어서 퍼지고 털이 많다.
