기생여뀌

고운사 숲을 헤매다가 느지막하게 돌아오는데. 도로 옆 묵논같은 습지에 붉은색 여뀌 꽃 무더기가 흘낏 스친다.

급히 차를 멈추고 바라보니 그렇게 찾던 기생여뀌가 한 가득하다. 야호! 다. 야호야~!

저 습지 풀밭에 접근할 수 없을까 둘러보니 휴게소 옆으로 밟고 다닌 흔적이 보인다.

기생여뀌 쪽으로 엉긴 풀을 헤치며 들어가는데 휴게소를 지키는 개가 요란스레 짖어댄다.

그 넘들이야 짖는 일이 제 일이니까 짖건 말건, 나는야 기생여뀌 담아야 한다이.

인터넷 상에는 이 털보 기생여뀌를 단지 털이 많다는 이유로 털여뀌로 소개하는 곳이 많다.

 얼마나 키가 큰지 키가 내 겨드랑이 까지 육박한다. 와~! 진짜 털보다.

 

잎은 어긋나기로 달리고 잎자루가 짧게 달리고 짙은 홍자색으로 피는 특징이 있다.

털여뀌는 잎이 넓고 둥그스름한데 비하여 기생여뀌는 잎이 좁고 길쭉하게 달린다.

여뀌 중에 털여뀌가 젤로 키다리인 줄 알았더니 식생 환경이 좋아서 그런지 기생여뀌도 거의 비슷하다. 

색깔이 고와서 <기생>이란 이름얼 얻었을까? 정작 털여뀌 보다 더 털이 많은 기생여뀌.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 저 뒤쪽이 모두 기생여뀌다.

 

 

 

 

<기생여뀌>

마디풀과 일년생 초본으로 높이 40-120cm

 

잎은 호생하고 난상 피침형이며 양끝이 좁고 길이 7-15cm, 폭 1.5-4cm로서 양면에 선점이 있으며

초상의 탁엽은 길이 7-15mm로서 털이 있고 원통 모양이다

꽃은 6-9월에 피고 홍자색이며 수상화서는 가지 끝과 엽액에서 나오고 길이 3-5cm로서 적색의 잔꽃이 밀착하여 아름답다.

화피는 길이 2-3mm로서 5개로 갈라지며 수술은 8개이고 화피보다 짧으며 암술대는 3개로 갈라지고 자방은 세모진다.

줄기는 곧게 서며 높이 40-120cm이고 갈색의 긴 대가 있는 선모가 밀생한다

 

털여뀌 참고 :  털이 짧고 잎이 넓고 잎자루가 길다. 엽초같은 탁엽 윗부분에 목도리 같이 생긴 녹색 잎이 있다.
