백두산식물 - 만주붓꽃(붓꽃과 붓꽃속) Iris mandshurica Maxim.

5년 전 6월 초순 중국 연변의 초지에서 만나본 적이 있던 녀석이다.

5월 초순이라 여기 저기 신싱하게 개화 중인 녀석을 제대로 만날 수 있었다.

산지의 마른땅에 자라는 여러해살이풀이다. 땅속줄기는 가늘고 길며 옆으로 뻗는다. 줄기는 높이 20~30cm이다. 잎은 5~6장이 모여나며 넓은 선형으로 길이 15~20cm, 폭 1~1.5cm, 가운데 잎맥은 없다. 꽃줄기는 1~2개, 끝에서 2개씩 꽃이 핀다. 꽃줄기는 길이 1~2cm, 꽃싸개잎은 길이 5~7cm이다. 꽃은 5월에 피는데 연한 녹색이 도는 노란색이며 꽃부리는 길이 1.2~1.5cm이다. 외화피편은 도란형, 길이 3~4cm, 폭 1.5~2.5cm, 윗면의 밑부분에 길이 4mm의 노란색 털이 있다. 내화피편은 길이 2~3cm, 폭 1cm 정도이다. 열매는 삭과, 세모진다. 우리나라 강원도 이북에 나며, 러시아 아무르, 우수리, 중국 등에 분포한다. 한국산 붓꽃속 식물 중에서 외화피편의 기부에 노란색 털이 밀생하는 특징으로 구분된다. 관상용으로 심는다. 쌍노랑붓꽃이라고도 한다 출처 :한반도생물다양성 포털
