전부터 붓꽃과 녀석들의 암술과 수술이 궁거웠었다. 꽃창포 꽃에 대한 도감 상의 설명이다
| 꽃은 6-7월에 피고 원줄기 또는 가지 끝에 달리며 적자색이고 안쪽에 황색 줄이 있다. 외화피는 3개이며 주걱모양으로 굵은 화경 위에서 현부가 밑으로 처지고 가장자리가 밋밋하며 맥이 있고 밑부분은 황색 무늬가 있다. 내화피는 3개이며 외화피와 호생하여 곧추서고 피침형 둔두로서 가장자리가 밋밋하며 외화피 색과 같다. 암술대는 외화피를 따라 휘어져서 끝이 3개로 갈라지며 갈라진 삼각상의 열편이 곧추선다. 자방은 연녹색이며 하위이다. 꽃 밑부분은 엽초상의 포 2개가 자방을 둘러싼다. |
화피와 암술대에 대한 도감의 설명을 보면 이해는 하지만 수술은 어떻게 생겼는지 참 궁금했었다.
해서 오늘 숨 막히는 습지에서 꽃창포 녀석을 해부하기 시작하였다.
외화피는 3개이며 주걱모양으로 굵은 화경 위에서 현부가 밑으로 처지고 가장자리가 밋밋하며 맥이 있고 밑부분은 황색 무늬가 있다.
내화피는 3개이며 외화피와 호생하여 곧추서고 피침형 둔두로서 가장자리가 밋밋하며 외화피 색과 같다.
암술대는 끝이 3개로 갈라지며 갈라진 끝에 곧은 삼각상의 열편이 있다.
헌데 이 녀석이나 울산 습지에서 본 녀석의 암술대는 끝이 2개로 갈라져 있었다.
아쉽게도 나는 암술대가 자방으로 연결되는 모습을 확인하지 못하였다
암술대 안에는 뭐가 있을까 싶어서 들춰보니
오예~!! 이 녀석이 암술머리로구나~!! 했는데.....
에거거...도감을 확인해 보니 암술대 뒤에 숨어 있는 녀석석이 수술이다
사실 외화피에 노랗게 떨어져 있는 꽃가루를 보고
어라?? 암술이 머리가 꽃가루를 터뜨릴 일은 없을 텐데 이상타 하긴 했었다.
수술의 모습이 확실하게 드러난다.
결국 자방으로 연결되는 암술의 모습은 확인하지 못하고 수술은 확실하게 확인을 하였다. 오늘은 절반의 성공이다.
