갯바늘꽃(소화바늘꽃) Epilobium parviflorum

국가표준식물목록이 재배식물에 소화바늘꽃으로 등록이 되어 있는 녀석이다.

그 동안 재배 기록이나자생 상태로 발견되지 않다가 2021년 꽃동무의 제보로 달려가서 만난 이후

다른 환경에서도 자라고 있음을 직접 확인하였는데,

2023년 남도 섬 여러 곳에서 자생이 확인 되었다고 "갯바늘꽃" 이란 국명을 제안하는 포스터가 발표되었다.

 

키는 큰바늘꽃에 육박하고 꽃은 바늘꽃 정도로 작은 녀석으로 전초에 선모와 털이 밀생한다.

남도 섬의  농수로, 묵논, 습지 임도 등에서 분포하고 있음이 확인되었다.

 

2년 후 식물상 조사 때문에 찾아간 이 묵논에는 여전하게 녀석이 잘 자라고 있었다.
