가시꽈리(가지과 가시꽈리속) 새싹

이 녀석을 보면 언제나 미안하다.

외래종이라고 여기 왜 들어 왔냐며 마구 뽑아 버렸던 적이 있기 때문이다

 

그 이후 한동안 이 녀석 그림자를 만나기 어려웠다.

혹시나 싶어서 녀석들을 찾을 때마다 내 손목이 원망스러울 정도로 후회 막심이었는데 

몇 년 전부터 몇 포기씩 꽃을 피우는 모습을 보여서 그렇게 반가울 수가 없었다.

 

그런데 지자체에서 둘레길 산책로를 만들면서 풀이 자라는 꼴을 못보겠는지

풀들이 꽃도 피지 못하고 잘려 나가는 모습만 애처롭게 바라만 볼 수 밖에..........
