개느삼(콩과 고삼속) 열매 Sophora koreensis Nakai

늘 심겨진 것만 봐왔던 터라 오래 전부터 자생지에 가본다 해 놓고는

이 녀석 하나 보려고 가기에는 먼 길이라 선뜻 나서지 못하였는데

다른 곳에 들렀다가 이제사 자생지에서 만난다.  

 

한국특산식물로 인제, 양구 등지의 건조한 산지에서 자란다.

땅속줄기가 길게 뻗어나가면서 개체가 생겨나가서 군락을 이루고 있었다.

 

열매가 결실이 안 되었는지 달렸던 흔적도 거의 안 보인다.

땅속줄기로 개체 번식이 가능해서 결실의 필요성이 절실하지 않은 것 같다.

국가표준식물목록에는 현재 멸종위기종보다 한 단계 낮은 위기종( EN)으로 기록되어 있다.
