황단나무(콩과 황단나무속) Dalbergia hupeana Hance

6월 중순에 남도에 내려 갔다가 화서도 맺히지 않은 녀석을 보고 와서는 꽃이 피기를 기다렸다.

지난 주 개화가 시작되었다는 소식을 듣고 주말을 기다려 내려갔는데.....

 

아뿔싸~!!! 벌써 꽃새이 누렇게 변하며 지고 있다!!

콩과 회화나무랑 비슷한 모습이라 져 버릴까 걱정은 되었지만  그래도 이번 주말까지는 싱싱하겠지 기대를 했는데....

큰 나무들이 제법 있었는데도 꽃을 안 피운 녀석들이 더 많았다. 아직 안 피운 게 아니라 아예 안 피운 거였다.
