바랭이(벼과 바랭이속) Digitaria ciliaris (Retz.) Koeler

호수 둘레길을 걸으면서 바랭이에 꽂혀서 이 녀석과 노닥거렸다.

소수에 털이 있는 녀석과 털이  없는 녀석이 보이길래 처음에는 두 종의 바랭이 녀석인 줄 알았다.

 

나중에야 미성숙 시의 1소화 호영 가장자리의 털이 편평하게 달라 붙어 있다가

숙하면 누렇게 퍼진 털이 빗살처럼 퍼진 모습을 보인다는 내용에 모두 바랭이였다는 걸 알게 되었다

개화 시에도 호영의 털이 숨어 있어 보이지 않는다

 

영과가 성숙되어 가는 시기에는 빗살처럼 퍼진 털이 나타난다
