동해안 석호 주변 습지를 뒤지다가 만나기 쉽지 않은 녀석을 찾았다.
키 큰 습지 식물 발 아래 겨우 의지하여 좁쌀만한 흰꽃을 피우고 있던 가는네잎갈퀴다
제주도에와 석호 주변 습지에서 2회 만난 적이 있지만 쉽게 보이지 않던 녀석이라 더 반갑다.
| 줄기는 덩굴지는데 아래는 누워 자라고 윗부분은 거의 곧게 자라며, 길이 20~40cm, 네모지며, 모서리에 밑을 향한 가시가 있다. 잎은 4장씩 돌려나며, 잎자루는 없다. 잎몸은 선형 또는 긴 타원형으로 길이 1~1.7cm, 폭 2~6mm, 끝은 둥글고 가장자리에 밑을 향한 거친털이 있다. 잎맥은 1개가 있으며, 맥 위에 거꾸로 향한 거친 가시털이 있다. 꽃은 5~7월에 피며, 줄기 끝이나 잎겨드랑이에서 1~3개씩 모여난다. 꽃자루는 길이 5~15mm이다. 꽃부리는 흰색, 지름 약 2mm, 끝은 3~4갈래로 갈라진다. 수술은 3개, 꽃부리 밖으로 나오며, 암술은 2개이다. 열매는 분과, 둥글며, 폭 2~3mm, 2개씩 붙으며, 겉에 털은 없거나 드물게 누운털이 있다. |
