긴잎갈퀴(꼭두서니과 갈퀴덩굴속) Galium boreale L.

동강변을 지나다가 풍성한 갈퀴 종류에 잠시 한눈을 팔다.

갈퀴속, 녀석들은 하도 많아서 이름을 찾으려면 한참 걸린다.

 

줄기 끝에 원추화서로 솔나물과 같은 형태이며 잎자루 없는 타원형 잎이 4장이고

잎맥이 3개, 꽃색이 흰 녀석으로 긴잎갈퀴로 좁혀진다.

에혀~! 이름 찾아주기 힘들다. 

 

잎은 4개씩 윤생하며 피침형, 타원형 또는 난형이고 끝이 둔하거나 뾰족하며 질이 두껍고 3맥이 뚜렷하며 길이 1-3.5cm, 나비 2-10mm로서 표면 가장자리 근처와 마디에 짧은 털이 있고, 엽병은 없다. 꽃은 6~7월에 피고 백색이며 취산화서는 가지 끝에 모여서 산방상으로 되고 화경 및 소화경이 굵으며 마디 부분을 제외하고는 털이 거의 없다. 화관은 지름 약 2mm이며 끝이 4개로 갈라진다. 수술은 4개이고, 암술대는 짧게 2개로 갈라지며 자방은 털이 있고.열매는 2개씩 붙어 있으며 분과에 곧은 털이 있다. 높이 20-50cm이고 곧게 자라며 가지가 짧고 총생한다. 줄기는 네모지며 털이 없다.
