개살구나무(장미과 벚나무속) 1

예전 근무하던 학교 가까운 동네 산자락에 개살구나무가 한 그루 있었더랬다.

꽃을 본 꽃동무가 개살구가 아니라고 했지만

여름에 잎과 열매를 확인해번 결과 개살구나무의 잎과 열매자루가 긴 살구열매를 달고 있었더랬다.

 

살구나무에  비하여 꽃자루가 1~2cm 정도로 길고(개화 후기아 열매 초기로 가면서 더 길어진다)

잎은 어긋나며 넓은 난형 또는 넓은 타원형이다. 잎끝은 길게 점차 뾰족해지고, 밑은 넓게 뾰족하거나 둥글다.

잎 가장자리에 불규칙한 겹톱니가 있다. 잎 양면에 털이 있으며 뒷면은 녹색이고 잎맥 겨드랑이에 잔털이 있다. 

 

꽃자루는 대체로 길지만 어떤 녀석은 매우 짧거나 안 보이는 경우도 있다.

꽃자루에도 잔털이 있고, 암술대와 자방에 털이 많다.
