자생의 자도나무(장미과 벚나무속) 열매

대암산을 중심으로 인제와 양구지역 일대 산지에 자생하는 자도너무 열매이다.

4월에 꽃이 핀 모습을 담은 적이 있어서 지나는 길에 열매가 궁거워서 들여다 보았다.

 

현지에서 이 열매를 괴타리라 부르는데

서양자두 보다 아주 작고 100원짜리 동전크기 정도로 황록색으로 익는다고 한다.

분백색 가루로 덮여 있는 열매가 무척 작아서 아주 귀여웠는데 열매가 익을 때 쯤 다시 확인해 봐야겠다.

 

현재 지름이 1.5cm 정도로 컸다.
