왜모시풀(쐐기풀과 모시풀속) Boehmeria japonica (L. f.) Miq.

잎은 마주나며 난상 타원형으로 길이 12~20cm, 밑부분은 둥글고 끝은 뾰족하며 

가장자리에 불규칙한 겹톱니가 있다. 양면에 짧은 털이 있으며, 특히 뒷면에 빽빽하다.

 

톱니가 일정한 왕모시풀에 비하여 잎 가장자리에 불규칙한 이중톱니가 있고

개모시풀에 비하여 엽질이 두껍다.
