연리초(콩과 연리초속)

집 마당 가에 이 녀석이 엄청 번지고 있다.

 

가까운 도로변 조경지에 살고 있는 녀석을 찾아 다녔더랬는데

꽃이 필 때 쯤이 되면 예취기로 댕강댕강 풀베기작업을 해 버려서 꽃을 볼 수가 없는지라.

 

두어 포기 가져와서 마당 가에 심어 두었더니 땅속줄기로 번져 나가서 몇 해 사이에 세력을 확장하는 속도가 장난이 아니다.

꽃동무 한 분이 야생초 씨를 뿌린 글을 읽고서 아무거나 함부로 들이다가 고생 좀 할 거라는 댓글을 단 적이 있다.

 

머 잖아서 이 녀석도 뽑아내느라고 씨름 좀 해야 할 것 같다.
